Anyway, as usual with the garbageware produced by Adobe, it drove me nuts trying to fix the problem. I'm not sure that's exactly the same problem as what you're seeing. After launching, the Acrobat (or Distiller) window would appear on the screen for less than a second, and then immediately disappear. This sounds similar to what happened to one of our Adobe Acrobat XI Pro users a few weeks ago. This will happen to any freshly installed Adobe Acrobat Pro installation (at least XI anyway).Д®DIT1: Adobe claims the problem is fixed. They initially said that this was only seen in VDI envrionments until I pointed out we had a freshly imaged physical machine with the same issues. Has anyone seen this happening today in VDI environments or freshly installed physical computers (where the software is activating for the first time)?Д®DIT: Got off the phone with Adobe support they are saying the problem is on their end (somthing with their licensing server).

Opened a ticket with Adobe support and all I got was a document for how to install Acrobat in a VDI environment (no acknowledgement of a larger issue).ДЇunny thing is other groups from around the county that are part of our organization starting experiencing the same issues (all started today).ДЇound a post on the Adobe forums from earlier today describing the same symptoms. Logging off the virtual desktop and logging back in would sometimes help but the problem would come back. Today Acrobat starts closing down a few seconds after the user would open a document (almost like it was trying to do an initial license activation). They have Adobe Acrobat XI Pro installed (volume license)(for a few months now) working just fine. Maintain a few hundred VDI virtual desktops (floating pool, non-persistant images, refreshed on logoff).
